Give Me Your Eyes - Brandon Heath

As expected the holidays just got better as it goes. Best thing has to be God's imminent presence daily.
Saturday, church, never as usual, always different. Fuel we talked deeper in depth about fasting. Wei Don came again, hope to see him more often and frequently in church. Service message was so strong. Passion, Perseverance always important in a relationship with God. Alter call had to be one moment of refreshing and committing myself to God's plans. He reminded me of the plans he has for me. Plans that I have been running away from, fearing to lose my comfort as I am enjoying now. God showed me a glimpse of me, a Humanitarian or a missionary, whichever suited the vision he showed me. Hard to believe and understand. Why? Why not something I can do within my reach, like reaching out to some folks here, locally. God reminded me of this song more importantly the chorus.

Give me your eyes for just one second
Give me your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me your love for humanity
Give me your arms for the broken hearted
Ones that are far beyond my reach.
Give me your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me your eyes so I can see

Now i shall not doubt any further, if God is for me, who can be against me?

Sunday, woke up early to pack my stuff for the chalet. 1st thing we did was breakfast at macs. Didn't have much since I already had mine at home. We went out to rent bicycles for the rest of our stay
. Had lunch which was kinda pathetic, well, at least for the price we paid it was a pittance. Then we went to the arcade. I mostly just played the basketball machine. Other than that I had some fun with the Japanese throw-ball-at-screen-game. Christopher, Joel (Poh and Loh), Wen Xuan, Lin Chun and Ying Hao were there. Then Zachary, Jun Yong and Chee Chin(bird) joined us. We caught a movie. Alas! High School Musical 3! Movie was great. But it left me thinking, is life ever so perfect like that? Well, maybe not. I love Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) hahaha. Okay that was random. Remember this?

Oh well, back to the point, after movie we went back to the chalet. Had nothing to do. I brought J Loh, Jun Yong, Chee Chin, Zachary, Wen Xuan out for a ride. Joel learnt how to ride a bike! With the help of yours faithfully and most importantly, Zachary who was teaching like a father would. Rain started, cycled in the rain. Accidently splatted some mud on the back of my shirt for going too fast. But it was pretty fun riding in the rain. Went back to BBQ, many thanks to Christopher's mother who made her way all the way to the chalet to be our head chef. well, I wasn't doing too bad either before she came. I did some perfect Otah(s)! After BBQ, I brought Chee Chin, J Loh, Jun Yong and Wen Xuan out for another go since the rain had died down and the weather was just marvelous. We had 4 bikes, 5 people. I volunteered to tompang Jun Yong but he complained the my bike was too "sharp" and his buttocks were aching. Jun Yong then shared with Chee Chin. They were looking super gay, cycling together, falling together. At certain point one would opt to run. We cycled to the end and back. Isaac and Hao Zhi were back at the chalet waiting for me. Thus, I had to go a second round that night. Altogether i cycled approximately 4 rounds around the whole Pasir Ris park yesterday. My buttocks were aching after all that. Then when everyone left, Those staying overnight (Christopher, Joel (Poh and Loh), Wen Xuan, Lin Chun and myself) decided to find something to do instead of sleeping. Went to Ehub! Last movie was at 12am,we just missed it by 15 mins or so. Headed to the bowling alley, all lanes were taken, went back to the chalet, the rest played cards while I went to sleep.

Monday, nothing much happened, we returned our bikes. We were utterly dismayed by the vendors working etiquette clearly the signboard stated he opens at 10am but he only came in 45 mins later. We were supposed to check out by 10.30am But ended up leaving the room only at 11.20am. Went home, slept, dinner till i ended up here.
