Yesterday:

Went out early, had lunch with Kinnon, Ariel Mae, Janella and Nathanael. Nathanael was uber late. Had hokkien mee. I was all scared when Ariel told me Janella has a tendency to fumble with soupy food. She did fumble with her Korean soup after all that faithful Sunday evening. Worse of all I was right opposite her.

After lunch, we walked around Orchard, we went up and down and escalator to take photos unfortunately they were not very clear. Jan couldn't stop playing with my camera even on the streets. Took loads of random shots. Went to cenileisure to check out movie times. None fitted our schedule. Went to arcade. I was quite hesitant to spend there but still eventually wasted $2 there HAHAH. Kinnon had O levels and Nat had piano lessons.

The 3 of us that were left decided to crash Ariel's place, played some demo game. Jan thrashed me D: wait til we rematch with the remote! HAHAHA. No one was at home except Pepper, Ariel's dog. Had more fun playing with Pepper than with the xbox hahaha.

Ariel had SP interview so Jan and i went to macs. Rain started. Ariel joined us back at macs, Kinnon came soon after. Told us he was late by 2 minutes and how he just slipped on his uniform and took his exam. They had a tough time deciding where to eat.

I went on for camp com meeting which was so hilarious.

Bro Andy: who's doing _____?
Sister Raine: erm, Haruki and Brenda very free.
Bro Andy: HARUKI!
Me: yeah?(blurly)
Bro Andy: you'll be doing _____.
Me: okay..... HUH?!
Bro Andy: Don't worry la I'll assist you. I'll do 80% you'll do 20%.
Sis kassey: No la brother Andy, you'll do 20%, He'll do 80%
Me: okay....HUH?!
Me: Err, okay....

____ shall not be released until camp hahaha.

Then Joseph slapped my right arm twice. Once for saying he needed the 10cents to pay the agency to get his vietnamese bride and the other for calling him Josie~

HAHAHA, rest well Joseph, hang in there.

Today:

woke up early, couldn't sleep, God knows why. Had a prayerton this morning. Just asking for direction and wisdom and strength to juggle so many responsibilities, SP duties, CH, Camp com. Transitions and more transitions. Putting me on the spot as always, but worse this time round. God led me to Genesis 12:1-5

The Call of Abram
1 The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.

2 "I will make you into a great nation
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.

3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you."

4 So Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran. 5 He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Haran, and they set out for the land of Canaan, and they arrived there.

Abram (Abraham) left his comfort zone too (country, father's household, people) but neither fear nor faltered, never did he look back. Why should I then?

Amazing insight from God from a verse as simple and often over repeated. A new season has begun sacrifices have to be made, time will be drained, much energy needed but God will sustain me.

Jeremiah 16:19 (extracted)

O LORD, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress

Chatted with Meiyan through lunchtime on msn. Talked dumb stuff like trees and Pines and ANGSANA hahaha. Made up weird theories for her, haha, we encouraged each other and challenged one another. Amazing what the wonders of msn does in this mordern age.

Slept and stoned and had Ben & Jerry's til now.
